IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls City Council race results are in. An incumbent won and so did a newcomer.
Two candidates ran for Council Seat No. 3 — newcomers Kirk Larsen and Barbara Miller.
Kirk Larsen won with 3,610 votes while Barbara Miller had 1,784 votes. Larsen said he was impressed by how many people voted.
“Sometimes these types of elections don’t draw a lot of voters and there were a lot,” Larsen said. “I am honored to have won. I appreciate all of the folks that have helped me and my effort. I look forward to helping Idaho Falls continue to be a great place to live and build on the strengths that we have.”
