Pakistan Tests Intermediate Range Nuclear-Capable Missile
Published at(ISLAMABAD) — While the world awaits a possible missile launch from North Korea, Pakistan went ahead with one of its own on Wednesday.
In a statement, Pakistan’s military said it “conducted a successful launch of the Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile Hatf IV Shaheen-1 Weapon System.”
According to the military, the missile that was launched Wednesday is an improvement over the existing one. It can carry nuclear and conventional warheads up to 900 kilometers.
Pakistan and its arch rival, India, frequently conduct missile tests to show their military muscle to each other.
