Kristen Bell Named Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2013 by PETA

Eric Charbonneau/WireImage(NEW YORK) — Dax Shepard can now brag that he’s engaged to the sexiest vegetarian celebrity of 2013.
His fiancée, Kristen Bell, just earned the title from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. A total of 100 stars were nominated by PETA; the winner was selected based on several factors, including a vote.
Bell explains in a statement issued by PETA why she swore off meat: “I had a hard time disassociating the animals I cuddled with — dogs and cats, for example — from the animals on my plate, and I never really cared for the taste of meat. I always loved my Brussels sprouts!”
The 32-year-old Bell and the 38-year-old Shepard have been engaged since 2009, but she proposed again on Twitter Wednesday after the Supreme Court’s historic rulings on same-sex marriage. Bell had said she wouldn’t get married as long as gay couples didn’t have the same right.
In March, Bell and Shepard welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lincoln.
