School closures for Friday, Feb. 14

IDAHO FALLS — The following schools are closed on Valentine’s Day due to winter weather.
CLOSURES
- Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 – including all before and after school activities
- Grace Lutheran Schools
A winter storm warning is in effect from 11 a.m. Thursday to 5 p.m. Friday for much of eastern Idaho.
Snow has been steadily falling in many areas Thursday, including the Mud Lake area and the Snake River Plain. Total accumulations between 4 and 8 inches are expected with winds gusting as high as 30 mph.
