ST. ANTHONY — A 44-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly had 10 sexual interactions with a 17-year-old boy.
Denys J. Dixon of St. Anthony was charged with felony sexual exploitation of a minor, felony sexual battery of a minor 16 or 17 years of age, and 10 felony counts of statutory rape.
If Dixon is found guilty, she faces up to life in prison.
According to the probable cause affidavit, from December to March 28, Dixon had sex with the 17-year-old victim 10 times and knew the victim was underage.
There were also text messages between her and the victim, which were sexually explicit and discussed “how badly” she was thinking of the victim.
The complaint details how Dixon also shared a nude image of the victim with another adult.
Dixon’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. on April 21 in front of Magistrate Judge Faren Eddins.
Though Dixon has been charged with these crimes, this does not necessarily mean she committed them. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
