Trixie Palmer
June 26th, 1956 - May 19th, 2025
Trixie Lou was born June 26, 1956, to Andrew J. Swensen and Betty Mae Brown in Rexburg, Idaho. She passed away on May 17, 2025, at her home in Teton, Idaho. She was the 5th of 14 children and attended school in St. Anthony, Idaho. Trixie was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held callings in the Primary and the Relief Society.
Trixie met the love of her life, Rocky Leon Palmer, at the age of 16. On October 12, 1973, she and Rocky were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. They were blessed with 5 wonderful children: Denton Rocky, Krista Leean, Rial Andrew, Kayla May, and Ciera Joan.
Trixie is preceded in death by her son Denton, her parents Andrew and Betty, her in-laws Rial and Joan Palmer, her sister Deana Wylie and her brothers Brad Swensen and Ricky Swensen
Trixie is survived by her loving husband, Rocky of Teton. Her children Krista (Samuel) Hill of Challis, Idaho; Rial (Teresa) Palmer of Lewistown, Montana; Kayla (Brandon) Wilding of Springfield, Tennessee; and Ciera (David) Coleman of Holbrook, Idaho, 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Her siblings; Trenna Williams, Connie (Robert) Carraway, Lorene Andrews, Aaron (Sandy) Swensen, Janet (James) Huml, Elva (Kevin) Schultz, Kristy (Larry) Hatch, Timothy (Cyndi) Swensen, Verla Sturtz and Tami (Greg) Osthimer.
The family would like to thank David and Tara Dranney and their family and Brio Hospice for all that they have done for Trixie and her family.
Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Teton LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday 9:30 am- 10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment will be at the Parker Cemetery.
