Teton’s Kincaid earns Mountain Rivers Conference Player of the Year after helping lead Timberwolves to the state tournament

EASTERN IDAHO — Conference softball champion Teton collected Mountain Rivers Player of the Year and Coach of the Year honors for Gracie Kincaid and Angie Kincaid, respectively.

Teton finished 17-9 and advanced to the 4A state tournament.

Gracie Kincaid hit .528 and led the Timberwolves with 51 runs and 39 stolen bases. She also pitched in 14 games.

Kambry Bartholick of Sugar-Salem was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year after hitting .473 with seven homers and 28 RBIs to go with a .986 slugging percentage.

South Fremont’s Leah Lehman was selected Defensive Player of the Year. The junior had a .960 fielding percentage and led the team with 86 putouts.

Along with Kincaid, Teton’s Kara Webster, Kapri Eiden and Kadence Hansen were named to the first team.

South Fremont’s Lehmann was named to the first team, as was Charly Stoddard and Lexi Peebles.
