Earthquake Rattles Teton Valley
Published at | Updated at(VICTOR, ID) – A small earthquake rattled portions of eastern Idaho Friday night. Officials with the U.S. Geological Survey say the magnitude 3.6 temblor hit shortly after 6 p.m. about nine miles southeast of Victor. Some residents reported feeling a strong jolt, comparable to a small explosion. Experts noted that the quake’s epicenter was relatively shallow, about two miles beneath the earth’s surface. No injuries were reported.
