RIGBY — Multiple storage units were destroyed by fire early Monday morning in Rigby.
Central Fire District firefighters were called to Snow Cap Storage at 149 3850 East around 2 a.m. Two units were fully engulfed in flames and eight others were damaged as the fire spread, according to Central Fire District Chief Nic White.

The fire was started by a candle that a tenant had left burning, White says. Charges could be filed if the fire was due to arson or accident.
Crews were able to get the fire out and the situation remains under investigation.
