IDAHO FALLS — One of eastern Idaho’s favorite summer traditions returns Friday as local law enforcement officers and firefighters take the field for the 15th annual Guns vs. Hoses Charity Softball Game, raising money for Make-A-Wish Idaho.
The game pits deputies from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 8 against members of the Idaho Falls Fire Department. Admission is by donation, with a suggested contribution of $5 per person or $20 per family.
Gates open at 6 p.m., and the first pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. The event will also feature raffle prizes, fundraising activities, and opportunities for attendees to support their favorite team, including the popular Guns vs. Hoses “jail cell” fundraiser.
All proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish Idaho, helping grant wishes for Idaho children with critical illnesses.
