Cambria Marie Anderson, 51, of Shelley, Idaho passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026.

Cambria was born on June 4, 1975, to Mark and Carol Anderson and grew up on her family’s generational potato farm in Shelley. An accomplished pianist from a young age, she graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy. Her lifelong belief in the healing and connecting power of music led her to work as a music therapist with adults and young adults across the country in North Carolina and Idaho.

Cambria married Shane Anderson, and together they made their home in the family farmhouse, built by her Swedish great-grandparents, Gustaf and Maria Anderson. There, they raised their two daughters, Paige and Kate, as the fifth generation of Andersons to call the home their own. For more than 25 years, Cambria filled the heritage home with joy, care, music, and love.

She kept a flourishing garden, a welcoming home, and an abundant library. She loved gathering friends and family, always making room at the table and making others feel they belonged. She believed deeply in the importance of learning about and experiencing the world, and she delighted in doing so with the people she loved. Together with her husband and daughters, she completed her goal of visiting all 50 United States.

Cambria’s greatest joy was with her family. She is survived by her husband, Shane; her daughters, Paige, and Kate; her son-in-law, London; her granddaughter, Estelle; her father, Mark; and her sisters, Melissa and Mary Kate.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol, and her mother-in-law, Joanne Anderson. Cambria leaves behind a large circle of family and friends who will remember her for her warmth, curiosity, generosity, and love.

Funeral services celebrating Cambria’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026 at the Shelley East Stake Center, 325 East Locust Street. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak Street, Shelley and Thursday morning from 9:30 till 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.nalderfuneralhome.com.
