POCATELLO — A historic church held its annual celebration of Greek culture in the Gate City.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church held its biggest event of the year, “Pocatello’s Greek Festival,” on Saturday, with thousands of people waiting in line throughout the day to purchase traditionally made Greek food. The festival has a decades long tradition in Pocatello, stretching back around five decades.
