Missing Utah man’s vehicle found abandoned near Burley; public’s help sought

BURLEY (Courtroom Insider) — Idaho and Utah law officials are asking for the public’s help locating a missing Utah man whose vehicle was found abandoned near Burley with the keys still in the ignition.
Anthony Jacob Denos, 28, of Layton, Utah, was last seen Aug. 20.
Two days later, on Aug. 22, Idaho State Police found Denos’ dark gray Chevrolet Equinox abandoned near mile marker 14 on Interstate 86 in the Burley area. The keys were still in the ignition.
Denos is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs approximately 145 pounds, and has brown hair. He wears glasses.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray shorts, combat boots, and an Army backpack.
EastIdahoNews.com reached out to Idaho State Police and the Layton City Police Department, and there are no new developments to report at this time. This story will be updated as new information about Denos becomes available.
