Missing Utah man found safe after vehicle discovered near Burley

BURLEY — Anthony Jacob Denos, a Layton, Utah, man who had been missing since Aug. 20, was found safe Monday, according to the Layton City Police Department.
A police spokesman said Denos is in good health and has requested privacy regarding this incident. No additional information about his disappearance or how he was found will be released.

Denos, 28, became the subject of a search after Idaho State Police found his dark gray Chevrolet Equinox abandoned Aug. 22 near mile marker 14 on Interstate 86 in the Burley area. The keys were still in the ignition.
Authorities in Idaho and Utah asked the public for help locating him.
