You have to see this! Egyptian gang robs moving delivery truck of frozen chicken

HIGHWAY CHICKEN HEIST — Wild footage of a highway robbery in Egypt recently went viral and it’s a video you have to see to believe.
The incident happened in Cairo on Aug. 25, 2026, on the Cairo–Ismailia Desert Road. The video shared by NBC News, which has totalled 8 million views on its Facebook alone, shows a truck that was reportedly full of frozen chicken being driven quickly on a road. Behind the delivery truck is another smaller moving truck that is right up against the delivery truck’s back doors.
Footage shows one of the back doors on the delivery truck is wide open. A man can be seen on the hood of the smaller truck tossing what reports say was frozen chicken into their vehicle.
At least three people can be seen in the small truck as item after item is thrown into their truck bed. The man who was on the hood eventually slams the delivery truck’s back door shut and the video then ends.
Reports say that the gang stole 105 kilograms of poultry. The video spread quickly online and police were able to track the known criminals to hideouts in Cairo and Qalyubia.
Egyptian officials said the incident turned violent and ended in a shootout. According to reports, three gang members died, three were arrested, and some stolen chicken was recovered along with their truck and firearms.
