Twin Falls man killed after 5-ton cargo truck overturns near Richfield

LINCOLN COUNTY — A 40-year-old Twin Falls man was killed Wednesday evening after the cargo truck he was driving overturned northwest of Richfield, according to Idaho State Police.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at East 1120 North and North 950 East.
Police say the man was driving a 1991 5-ton cargo truck west on East 1120 North when he failed to navigate a turn onto North 950 East. The truck overturned and the driver was ejected.
He died from his injuries at the scene.
Idaho State Police was assisted by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County EMS and Richfield Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
