There’s plenty to be ImPressed by at this Chubbuck coffee shop
Published atCHUBBUCK — I did something a little different for my latest East Idaho Eats adventure.
Instead of sitting down to a table loaded with food, I spent a lovely fall afternoon sipping my way through some seasonal treats at one of the fun little coffee huts I’ve discovered in eastern Idaho — ImPressed Coffee Co. in Chubbuck.
And I have to say, I’ve been impressed with ImPressed (no pun intended) for quite some time.
The locally owned coffee shop recently celebrated five years in business, and during that time, I’ve noticed its strong sense of community.
ImPressed has made a point of supporting local schools, businesses, nonprofits and events while also creating some fun traditions of its own, including Open Mic Fridays and Caffeine & Chrome Saturdays.
So, I was thrilled when manager Natasha Potter agreed to welcome me for an East Idaho Eats visit on the shop’s darling patio at 127 West Burnside Avenue.
ImPressed offers a huge variety of handcrafted drinks, including espresso beverages, Lotus and Red Bull infusions, smoothies, frappés, gourmet sodas, teas and more.

Potter decided I needed to sample some fall flavors since it’s my favorite season. I couldn’t agree more.
First up was a caramel apple blossom, followed by a hot horchata chai tea and a pumpkin spice milkshake frappé. It was quite the lineup, and I happily sampled them all while enjoying plenty of good conversation with Potter.

The drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere really stood out. Potter and the entire ImPressed crew have a welcoming energy that can lift you almost as much as the caffeine and energy drinks.
That seems to be exactly what ImPressed has been going for since it opened — not simply a place to grab a cup of coffee on the run, but a place where people feel welcome to stop, visit and connect with their community.
Great fall treats, a sunny patio and good company.
I’d say that made for a pretty fun workday.
