‘Eclectic’ new boutique brings clothing, antiques, art and more to St. Anthony

ST. ANTHONY — A one-of-a-kind shopping experience is coming to St. Anthony, and the owner describes it as “eclectic.”
Tiffany Marez owns a boutique called Eclectic Amore, located at 99 North Bridge Street. The store will open on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. The first 20 people in line will get a gift basket, and there will also be a giveaway.
“It’s just a cute pink stucco building. You can’t miss it. It was the old East Idaho Credit Union building. We have new clothing; a lot of brands that people will recognize, and some new brands,” Marez said. “We also have local vendors that have brought in vintage items, antiques and collectibles. We will have home decor.”

It’s a good blend of products, she said. Marez and her daughter, Teagan, love to shop, and the store has exactly what they shop for. Marez has had the building for six years, and she and Teagan had considered opening a store.
“We just decided to do it. My daughter has her own business called Willa Ru and lives in Salt Lake City. She is definitely my partner on this and has helped me put it all together. She will be managing with me. She will travel up here a couple of times a month,” Marez said.

The “Eclectic” part of the store comes from Marez describing her personality that way.
“If you walk through my home or the stuff that I collect, it’s just all over the place from the things I like. Same as my music taste, so eclectic just fits my personality really well,” she said.
The store’s clothing gives it a boho vibe. There are KanCan jeans and Judy Blue jeans. It will be carrying Free People soon. It also carries MUK LUKS shoes and much more.
The vendors are local to the St. Anthony and Tetonia area.
“The vendors that are in there have their own vibe for sure. We’ve got a local artist in there, and she loves scary movies, so her art is that vibe,” Marez said. “We’ve got a lady that collects a lot of Western stuff, so there’s just such a variety. You can’t even put one word to describe it. You just have to come and see it for yourself.”
Marez said she is excited for the boutique to open because St. Anthony offers such a great atmosphere and great people.
“There’s just no shopping, so I really hope that we can bring this to town and that people love it. Sometimes it gets pretty terrible to drive all the way to Idaho Falls to shop for clothes, or even to Rexburg. And to have a cute little boutique is pretty exciting. I would shop there for sure, so I hope everybody else loves it as well,” she said.
Eclectic Amore will be open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., after it officially opens on Oct. 29. There will be a Halloween Bash on Oct. 31, with trick-or-treating for kids. A grand opening is planned for December.
“Come and check us out. Hopefully you’re impressed, and you will want to come back,” Marez added.

CEI Nursing celebrates 50 years of service, education and excellence
The following is a news release provided by the College of Eastern Idaho.
IDAHO FALLS — College of Eastern Idaho will celebrate 50 years of nursing education with an open house Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Battelle Energy Alliance Future Tech Building in partnership with Frontier Credit Union. A formal program will begin at 6 p.m.
CEI’s nursing program began in 1976 at Eastern Idaho Vocational Technical School, which later became Eastern Idaho Technical College and, eventually, College of Eastern Idaho. The program was established to meet the region’s growing need for locally educated nurses while providing Eastern Idaho residents with an affordable pathway into the healthcare profession.
What began as a regional program for licensed practical nursing students has grown into a comprehensive nursing department offering practical nursing, associate degree registered nursing options, alternative scheduling tracks and LPN-to-RN bridge opportunities.
“Celebrating 50 years of nursing education is an opportunity to honor the faculty, staff, students, clinical partners and healthcare organizations that have contributed to the program’s success,” said Kirsten Erickson, CEI Nursing Department chair and co-administrator. “This anniversary celebrates more than the longevity of a program. It celebrates 50 years of service, leadership, compassion and excellence in nursing education.”
Over five decades, CEI has graduated thousands of nurses who have gone on to serve throughout eastern Idaho and neighboring communities. Graduates work in nearly every area of healthcare, including hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities and community health organizations. Many remain in eastern Idaho, caring for friends, neighbors and family members in the same communities where they received their education.
The program has continued to evolve alongside the healthcare industry. Today, nursing students train in skills laboratories, use high-fidelity simulation technology and complete hundreds of hours of clinical experience with healthcare partners throughout the region.
CEI’s associate nursing program earned accreditation through the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) in 2021 and received renewed accreditation in 2026. The Practical Nursing program also achieved ACEN accreditation in 2026.
Clinical partnerships have played a central role in the program’s success. CEI’s longstanding partnership with Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center dates back to the hospital’s opening in 1986. The college also works closely with Mountain View Hospital, Idaho Falls Community Hospital, the Idaho Healthcare Institute and numerous healthcare organizations across the region to expand clinical opportunities and strengthen the local nursing workforce pipeline.
“For generations, CEI graduates have cared for people throughout our region during some of the most important and vulnerable moments of their lives,” Erickson said. “This milestone allows us to celebrate that legacy while looking ahead to the next generation of nurses who will continue serving Eastern Idaho and beyond.”
