TWIN FALLS — Two drivers were taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 93 just south of Twin Falls.
According to Idaho State Police, the crash happened around 3:35 p.m. near milepost 45.5.
A juvenile from Twin Falls was driving a 2012 Kia Optima northbound when a 79-year-old woman in a 2008 GMC SUV attempted to turn left from southbound US93 onto 2600 East.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital, one by ambulance and the other in a personal vehicle. Both were wearing seat belts.
The northbound lanes of US93 were blocked for about an hour and 18 minutes.
The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office and Twin Falls Fire assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
