IDAHO FALLS — Sparklight is offering nonprofit organizations another opportunity to receive funding, with applications now open for its Fall 2026 Charitable Giving Fund.

The high-speed internet and mobile provider awards $250,000 annually to nonprofits across its 24-state service area. Eligible 501(c)(3) organizations can apply through Oct. 31, with grant recipients expected to be announced in December.

The program focuses on three areas: education and digital literacy, hunger relief and food insecurity, and community development.

Funding has also supported housing assistance, workforce development, child and senior advocacy, veterans’ programs and services for people with disabilities.

Since launching the fund in 2020, Sparklight has awarded more than $1.3 million to more than 300 nonprofit organizations.

The company distributes its annual funding through two grant cycles, awarding $125,000 in the spring and another $125,000 in the fall.

Previous recipients include Southeastern Arizona Community Unique Services, which received a $7,500 grant to provide nutritious meals and wellness checks to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities.

“For many of our clients, a meal delivery is more than food — it’s a lifeline that reduces isolation and provides reassurance that someone cares,” said Stephanie Nabor, the organization’s executive director.

Eligible nonprofits can find application details and additional information through Sparklight’s Charitable Giving Fund website.
