Blackfoot EMTs Get New Heart Monitors
Published at(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Blackfoot paramedics are now better equipped to handle patients with heart problems. The fire department recently upgraded their physio-control machines in four ambulances, which will give EMTs a dozen different views of the heart. This helps determine how to best treat patients suffering from heart attacks. Officials say each upgrade cost around $8,000, and paramedics have already been able to use them.
