Governor Signs Wolf Control Measure
Published at(BOISE, ID) – Gov. Butch Otter has signed a bill that will create a state wolf control board. The measure creates a $400,000 fund administered by five board members who will authorize the killing of wolves that are believed to be causing major damage among wildlife and livestock. Financing for the project, which was originally slated at $2 million, will come from the state’s general fund.
