Mickey Rooney Leaves Estate to His Stepson

Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Mickey Rooney, who died Sunday at the age of 93, named in his will his stepson/caretaker, Mark Rooney, and Mark’s wife the sole beneficiaries of his estate, valued at $18,000, according to the New York Daily News.
The will, signed by Rooney on March 11, disinherited his estranged wife, Jan Rooney, and his eight biological kids.
Meanwhile, a lawyer for the estate has requested an emergency order barring Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles from releasing his remains to Jan Rooney, the Daily News reports.
