With a smile and a laugh that would unequivocally fill up any room, Aaron Lee Johnston, 41, of Idaho Falls, passed away in his home on March 9, 2024.
Aaron was born February 18, 1983, in Newport Beach, California, to Arthur Lee Johnston and Gloria Treasure Johnston. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Hillcrest High School.
Aaron made his home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He enjoyed reading and he was an animal lover. An avid sports fan (especially ice hockey and football), movie lover, and history buff, he could easily chat with you for hours. Aaron’s default settings were full of charity, compassion for the struggling unfortunate, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Lee and Treasure Johnston of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Tiffany Tallman; and brothers, Nolan Thomas, Adam Lloyd Johnston, and Andrew Lorance Johnston.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, David Thomas and Eric Johnston.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, with Dave Pace officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. Services will be broadcast live at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
