Carol Ann Sommer Briggs passed away on April 27, 2026, in Rexburg, Idaho, due to natural causes. Carol was born on December 16, 1944 in Rexburg, Idaho. Carol’s life was marked by profound love for her family and taking care of her sister Diana.
Carol worked at Diet Center and Artco.
Carol loved her family deeply she is survived by her family Tamra (Jeffery) Hanks of Hinckley, Utah, a son Troy (Stella) Briggs of Rexburg, Idaho. 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Briggs, daughter Tracy, grandson and 2 granddaughters.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Burton West LDS Chapel at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, and on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Burton West Chapel from 10 – 10:45am prior to the service.
