Cassandra Marie Ortiz

Cassandra Marie Ortiz, 31, of Idaho Falls, passed away Thursday, 05/02/2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital surrounded by her dedicated caregivers and friends. A special thanks to Life Care Center of Idaho Falls, which, for years, she called her family and home.

Cassie never let her limitations inhibit her passions. She was very talented; she kept herself busy with her art, calligraphy, gaming, photography, and makeup. She always worked on at least two projects at a time, and would never be caught going out without her eyebrows being flawless.

Cass was a sensitive soul who made every effort possible to better the lives of everyone she met. She constantly looked for ways to lend a helping hand, and spent hours on end meticulously tracking birthdays, anniversaries, and all other life events to make sure she’d have a perfect handmade and handwritten card for each occasion.

Cass lived life to the fullest—inspiring and touching the hearts and lives of all those around her. She endured through countless struggles, pains, and challenges that her body imposed on her. Her example, courage, witty sass, and contagious smile and laugh were unwavering and will never be forgotten.
