Darwin Bruce Fox

Darwin B. Fox, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 10, 2026, at his home.
Darwin was born September 10, 1940, in Idaho Falls, ID, to Darrel Wilson Fox and Melva Maud Goodson Fox. He grew up and attended schools in Ammon and graduated from Bonneville High School. After high school, he joined the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.
On February 12, 1990, he married Diana “Jean” Howarter in Idaho Falls, ID. Darwin and Jean made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Darwin worked as an industrial contractor.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandkids.
Darwin is survived by his daughter, LaVern Moyer of Idaho Falls, ID, son, Robbie Howarter of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Calvin Fox, sister, Julie Hansen, brother, Kevin Fox, sister, Chyrol Wilkerson, brother, Erwin Fox; and 2 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Fox; parents, Darrel and Melva Fox; brother, Milton Fox; and sisters, Myrna Keele and Louise Cobia.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Ammon Cemetery, 5226 East Sunnyside Road. Military Honors will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
