David “Troy” Snarr

Troy Snarr, formerly of Idaho Falls, died in Portland, Oregon, on September 9th following complications from a stroke.

Troy was born on December 16th 1964 in Idaho Falls to David and Carol Snarr.

Troy was raised in Osgood ID on the family farm with his sister Jennifer and many family and friends. Troy attended schools in Osgood and graduated from Skyline High School in 1983.

After high school Troy moved to Denver to start a career in construction which lasted a few years, and then his true calling a salesman. He sold everything from vacuums to automobiles over his career. Troy’s last job was at Gresham Ford in Gresham OR. “He could sell ice to a Eskimo”.

Troy’s career ended in 2021 after a terrible auto accident that left him unable to work.

Troy is survived by his sister Jennifer (Ronnie) Campbell, nephew Jeremy (Amanda) Campbell, niece Alicia (Tony) Truster, and many family and friends.

Troy was proceeded in death by his parents David and Carol Snarr, grandparents A. Wylie Virginia Snarr and Rao and Erma Thompson.

Troy’s wishes were to be cremated and placed with his parents at Fielding Memorial Cemetery which will be at a later date.
