Frank Hinckley

January 25th, 1942 - May 1st, 2024









Frank LeRoy Hinckley, 82, of Ammon, passed away May 1, 2024, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community.

Frank was born January 25, 1942, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Dean LeRoy Hinckley and Sarah Ida Barney Hinckley. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. He also attended Utah State and Ricks College.

On May 15, 1971, he married Norma LaRene McCulloch in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Frank and Norma made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Frank worked in safety for the Idaho National Laboratory.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, water skiing, camping, motor home traveling, and going on cruises. He spent the cold months as a snowbird in Arizona. Frank was also an airplane pilot with over 6,000 hours.

Frank is survived by his wife, Norma Hinckley of Ammon, ID; daughter, Lesa (Hal) Rapp of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Juli (Warren) Johns of Boise, ID; son, Darrin (Stephani) Bradshaw of Peoria, AZ; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gloria Hansen.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Ammon 2nd Ward, 1100 South Tiebreaker, with Bishop Aaron Powell officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. prior at the church. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
