Michael Todd Rosenberg, age 50, of Yamhill, Oregon passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026, in Lewisville, Idaho surrounded by his family. There is no doubt that Mike was welcomed with open arms by his beloved dad, Val and his dog Blaze. Mike is survived by his four incredible children, Paige, Maya, Kale and Silas; as well as his mother, Judith Rosenberg and his seven siblings, Jeff (Becky), Brandon (Aimee), Kristen (Jody) Bilstad, Matt (Emmy), Katie (Brent) Ellsworth, Angie (Matt) DeGraw Jon (Amanda), and his ex-wife, Maria and countless other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Valden L. Rosenberg.

Mike was born on August 6, 1975, in Brigham City, Utah. He was one of eight rambunctious children. He spent his childhood growing up in Idaho, creating lots of trouble and having endless amounts of fun with his siblings. Mike had a passion for skateboarding and snowboarding. He would tell you that he may have even created the first snowboard in the 1980s after strapping a skateboard with duct tape and bombing the Ucon pit.

After high school, Mike pursued an education at Idaho State University in laser electro optics. And before settling down into a career, he decided to travel and snowboard in exciting places. He ended up moving abroad to Garmisch, Germany. While living in Europe, Mike had countless adventures that included running with the bulls and epic powder days in the Austrian Alps. That is where he met his wife of 20 years, Maria Marchi. They moved to Montana where they started their family with the birth of their first daughter, Paige, and solidified their love of moving and adventure. Over the next 14 years, he had three more children, Maya, Kale and Silas. They moved 16 times before eventually settling in Yamhill, Oregon, where he was able to create his dream homestead.

It was obvious from the moment that Mike became a father that he had settled into the role he was meant for. He loved being a father more than anything in the world and he spent most of his time with his family, skateboarding with his boys and camping along the Wilson River. If he wasn’t on an adventure with one of his kids, you would find him milling lumber from his own property to create a deeply meaningful and thoughtful place for his children to enjoy over the years.

Mike had a successful career in the semiconductor industry where he worked for a variety of different companies and was able to travel the world. He ended his career working for Applied Materials in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Mike was a hard-working, fun loving, stubborn, candy loving outdoor dad. Although he may be gone, his infectious laugh and bright smile will live on through his children and all the people who were lucky enough to have known Mike.

There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends of Mike to be held at the Lewisville LDS church in Lewisville, Idaho, on May 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., There will also be a Celebration of Life in Oregon, with details to come.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com.
