Linda Lake

Linda Rae Lake, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 3, 2024, at her home.

Linda was born April 3, 1946, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Robert Thomas Humpherys and Wilma Isabel Taylor Humpherys. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

On April 16, 1965, she married Dall Ray Lake in Bonneville County. Linda and Dall Ray made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Linda was a homemaker.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held several callings and served faithfully throughout her life. She loved camping, making bread and scones, and enjoyed lunch with her camping group and dear friends.

Linda is survived by her husband, Dall Ray Lake of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Teresa Spillers of Rigby, ID; daughter, Kristy (Neil) Holverson of Ammon, ID; daughter, Lynette (Sean) Kelly of Rigby, ID; son, Travis (Amy) Lake of Idaho Falls, ID; son-in-law, Brett Larsen of Rigby, ID; sister, Verna Thorngren of Menan, ID; sister, Gail Oswald of Boise, ID; sisters-in-law, Janiece Barney and Linda Bennett; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kelli Ann Larsen; sister, Tamera Humpherys; sister, Martha “Marti” Dole; brother, Robert Eugene Humpherys; and father and mother-in-law, Lavell and Lenabell Lake.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1235 Juniper Dr in Idaho Falls, with Bishop Jason Yarrington officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
