Margo Reese

January 11th, 1969 - April 27th, 2024









Our loving wife, mother, and grandma: Margo Reese (55) of Billings, Montana, passed away from cancer April 27th, 2024 at home surrounded by family.

She was born January 11th, 1969 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to her parents Neil and Theda Gray. She was the youngest of 3 siblings. Margo graduated in 1987 from Rigby High School. She went to Ricks College (BYU-Idaho) studying accounting then decided to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She would go on to serve a mission in the Belo Horizonte, Brazil Mission. Following her mission, she met the love of her life: Scott Reese. On August 13th, 1993 they were married in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS temple. They would go on to celebrate 30 years of marriage. They welcomed 3 wonderful children into this world between 1995 to 2000. Marisa, Kylie, and Colton. She spent many years at home raising their children. Margo loved nothing more than her family. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served many callings. She loved serving in the primary with all the little children and teaching them about the Lord. She loved warm weather, the beach, traveling to see her kids, adventuring with Scott, and of course playing with her grandkids.

Margo was predeceased by Neil Reed Gray (father), David Edward Reese (father-in-law), Eileene Cutler (maternal aunt), Alfred Franck (maternal uncle), Lee and Thelma Franck (maternal grandparents) and George and Edna Gray (paternal grandparents).

She is survived by Scott Reese (spouse), Theda Gray (mother), Gail Reese (mother-in-law), Marisa Mitchell (TJ and Tilian), Kylie Yurian (Jake, Greyson, Virgil, and Anjalee), Colton Reese (Allyssa), Elaine Luthy (Sister), a brother, 24 nieces and nephews, their loving parents, aunts and uncles, and bonus kids, Chelsea, Shane, and Alex (Felecia and Ayden).

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 9th at 912 Wicks Ln in Billings, Montana. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, May 10th at Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby, Idaho. Followed by the procession to the Annis Little Butte Cemetery where Margo will be laid to rest.
