One of a kind. A friend to all. A life lived fully and a heart given freely.

Shane Kramer, 56, passed away on October 25, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, unforgettable stories, and friendships that will endure long beyond his years.

To know Shane was to love him. He was truly one of a kind—a man who never met a stranger, only a friend he hadn’t made yet. His genuine warmth, larger-than-life personality, and remarkable ability to connect with people made everyone he encountered feel welcomed, valued, and important. Within minutes of meeting Shane, you felt as though you had known him your entire life.

Shane didn’t just live life—he embraced every moment of it. An avid outdoorsman and adventurer at heart, he lived life on the edge, collecting experiences most people only dream about. And oh, the stories he could tell! Shane was a master storyteller, captivating anyone fortunate enough to be within earshot. His true-life adventures were often so outrageous they seemed almost impossible to believe. Yet somehow, with Shane, they were true. He had a gift for bringing those experiences to life, leaving his audience laughing until tears rolled down their cheeks. His stories were legendary, his laughter contagious, and his ability to entertain unforgettable.

Shane was truly a man of many talents and experiences. Throughout his life, he wore more hats, worked more jobs, and experienced more adventures than most people could imagine. It often seemed there wasn’t a job he hadn’t done, a challenge he hadn’t taken on, or something he couldn’t figure out. His remarkable collection of life experiences made him knowledgeable, resourceful, and endlessly interesting. Whatever the situation, Shane seemed to have a story about it, firsthand experience with it, or a solution for it. He was a man who learned by doing, lived by experiencing, and never shied away from an opportunity to try something new.

Shane proudly served his country for two years as an Army Ranger. The courage, loyalty, strength, and commitment to service that marked his military experience were qualities he carried throughout his life.

Professionally, Shane served as Regional Manager for Parris RV, where his extraordinary people skills and genuine compassion set him apart. He possessed a rare gift: he could take the most frustrated, irate customer and, within fifteen minutes, turn that person into a friend. Shane didn’t simply resolve problems—he built relationships. People mattered to him, and he had a way of making sure they knew it.

Above all else, Shane loved his wife, Marci, and his family with every beat of his heart. Devoted, generous, and unconditional were not simply words to describe his love; they were the way he lived it. He loved fiercely, protected instinctively, and gave of himself wholeheartedly. His commitment to those closest to him was unwavering. He was their protector, their problem solver, their steady presence, and their greatest supporter. His love was never measured by what he said, but by the countless ways he showed up.

Shane was sturdy, strong, and dependable—a man you could lean on. If someone had a problem, Shane was already working on a solution before they finished explaining it. He instinctively stepped into service, offering whatever was needed without hesitation or expectation of anything in return. Whether it was a helping hand, a listening ear, a little encouragement, or standing beside someone during life’s hardest moments, Shane showed up.

His kindness wasn’t something he practiced occasionally. It was the very foundation of who he was. His selflessness, authenticity, and unconditional acceptance extended far beyond his family. Everyone was worthy of Shane’s friendship, and everyone deserved to be treated with compassion and respect.

Shane lived boldly, laughed wholeheartedly, loved unconditionally, and gave generously. He was strong yet tenderhearted, adventurous yet dependable, and larger than life while remaining genuinely humble in his service to others.

Shane is survived by his beloved wife, Marci Kramer; his sons, Beaux Clyde and Chance Clyde; his daughters, Jayde Clyde and Brittney Passman; his mother, Rita Kramer Gross; sister, Jodi Rae Parsons; grandparents, John Wayne (Mildred) Rast Sr, Warren and Laura Kramer; special uncles, Melvin Kramer and Jack Kramer; uncle, Bill Kramer; and cousin, Steve Hatch.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Rast Jr.

The world is a little quieter without Shane’s laughter, a little less adventurous without his spirit, and a little less colorful without his unbelievable stories.

But his legacy is extraordinary. It lives in the family he cherished, the countless friendships he created, the lives he made better, and the kindness he extended so naturally to everyone he encountered.

Those fortunate enough to know Shane will carry his stories, his laughter, and his love with them forever.

Shane Kramer was truly one of a kind. He didn’t measure life by the years he lived, but by the experiences he embraced, the people he loved, and the lives he touched.

And by that measure, Shane lived an extraordinary life.
