Susan Lowe

February 26th, 1950 - December 18th, 2023









Susan Ann Lowe, 73, of Ammon, went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 18, 2023, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center due to injuries sustained from an accident. She was surrounded by family.

Susan was born February 26, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Leon Daniel Lowe and Bonnie Maxine Clements Lowe. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. She also attended Westminster College and Salt Lake City Community College where she earned her Bachelor Degree in education.

Susan resided in Utah for many years where she worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell. She made her way back to Idaho which she always called home. Being around family was her greatest joy.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed board games, card games, and watching Hallmark movies. She was everyone’s #1 fan at any and all family events.

Susan is survived by her sister, Debbie (Chuck) Fourman of Idaho Falls; brother, Randy (Bonnie) Lowe of Idaho Falls; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Bonnie Lowe; sister, Carolynn Barnes; and brother, Darryl Leon Lowe.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services, both visitations at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lincoln Cemetery.
