(DALLAS) — Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray damaged ligaments in his foot in Sunday’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens, according to sources.
Sources also told ESPN NFL Insider Ed Werder that Murray will not need surgery and his availabilty will be determined on a week-to-week basis.
Murray sustained the injury to his left foot in the first half against the Ravens, in which he rushed for 90 yards before coming out. He has had injury problems in the past, missing time last season when he fractured his ankle against the New York Giants.
Felix Jones will look to pick up the slack if Murray cannot contribute. He also had to come out of the game on Sunday, due to cramping.
