(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims turned around last week, falling by 16,000, the Labor Department reported Thursday morning.
For the week ending April 20, the number of people filing for benefits decreased to 339,000. The previous week, claims stood at 355,000.
The four-week average also went down, dropping by 4,500 to 357,500.
