(BOSTON) — The Chicago Blackhawks had the final say in yet another overtime classic.
Brent Seabrook scored the game-winning goal 9:51 into overtime to give the Blackhawks a thrilling 6-5 win over the Boston Bruins to even the Stanley Cup Finals at two games apiece.
“One of things we have talked about: Get pucks to the net,” said Seabrook. “I just tried getting it on net, we had a great screen in front…It just found a way.”
Patrick Kane added a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks, while goalie Corey Crawford made 28 saves.
It was the third overtime game of the finals. The Blackhawks held leads of 1-0, 4-2 and 5-4. but the Bruins came back to tie it every time.
Patrice Bergeron scored two goals in the loss for the Bruins, who had won 11 of its previous 13 playoff games.
Game 5 of the best-of-seven series is set for Saturday night in Chicago.
