( POCATELLO, ID ) – Students and staff at Franklin Middle School in Pocatello got the day off Tuesday. District 25 administrators say a major water leak prompted the closure of the school for the entire day. For some families, it meant rearranging schedules, while others showed up to school only to be turned away. Officials, who weren’t aware of the leak until early Tuesday morning, sent out a news release at about 6:30 a.m. about the closure. School is expected to resume today.
