American Film Institute Names Outstanding Movies, TV Shows of 2013
Published at(NEW YORK) — The American Film Institute has announced its list of movies and TV shows slated to receive AFI Awards in 2013.
In a press release, the organization named 10 films and 10 TV programs it has “deemed culturally and artistically representative of the year’s most significant achievements in the art of the moving image.”
The ensembles of each film and TV program will be honored at a luncheon Jan. 10 in Los Angeles.

- American Hustle
- Captain Phillips
- Fruitvale Station
- Gravity
- Her
- Inside Llewyn Davis
- Nebraska
- Saving Mr. Banks
- The Wolf Of Wall Street
Here are AFI’s TV programs of the year:
- The Americans
- Breaking Bad
- Game Of Thrones
- The Good Wife
- House Of Cards
- Mad Men
- Masters Of Sex
- Orange Is The New Black
- Scandal
- Veep
