(COLUMBUS, Ohio) — The Los Angeles Kings acquired forward Marian Gaborik from the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday for forward Matt Frattin and two conditional draft picks.
The 32-year-old Gaborik has missed 40 games this season with a sprained knee and a broken collarbone. In 22 games, he has six goals and eight assists for 14 points.
The Kings will be the fourth team Gaborik has suited up for, following the Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and Blue Jackets. In 791 career NHL games, he has 342 goals and 346 assists for 688 points.
The 26-year-old Frattin has appeared in 40 games with the Kings this season, talling two goals and four assists for six points.
