Fire Damages Idaho Falls Apartment Building

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A fire caused extensive damage to an Idaho Falls apartment complex Sunday night.
The fire started at the Parkwood Pointe complex on the 1900-block of Parkwood just after 7 p.m. Everyone in the building was evacuated, and three people lost their home.  Those displaced are staying with family members until a new residence can be located.
Damages are estimated at around $100,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
