Oklahoma is now 3-0 as it heads into Big 12 play.

“I don’t feel that we’ve done much yet,” Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops said. “I’ve got all the respect in the world for Tennessee. I’m just saying it’s only three games. We’ve got a long year. We’ve got to keep getting better.”

Oklahoma jumped out to an early 13-0 lead before Tennessee scored on a Justin Worley 40-yard touchdown pass to Josh Smith. But Keith Ford ran in an 11-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter to give the Sooners a 20-7 lead at halftime.

Cornerback Julian Wilson essentially sealed the game for Oklahoma in the fourth quarter when he intercepted a Worley pass and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown.
Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight accounted for two touchdowns, one rushing and one passing, while completing 20 of 33 passes for 308 yards.

Worley completed 21 of 40 passes for 201 yards, but threw two interceptions and fumbled once for Tennessee (2-1) in the loss.
