‘Living Lights’ Opens Friday at Museum of Idaho
Published at | Updated at(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — The Museum of Idaho’s newest exhibit, Glow: Living Lights, opens on Friday, September 26 and runs through November 29.
The focus of the exhibition is on bioluminescence. This phenomenon allows creatures to produce light for communicating, camouflage, attracting prey, and for other reasons scientists still don’t understand.
“This exhibition offers visitors an interactive look at live animals, preserved specimens and displays to explain the incredible subject of bioluminescence. Being ‘in the dark’ was never so enlightening.” stated Rod Hansen, Director of Exhibitions.
