US, Saudi Military Forces Conduct Seven Airstrikes on ISIS Near Kobani

iStock/Thinkstock(KOBANI, Syria) — U.S. and Saudi military forces conducted seven more airstrikes on ISIS targets in Syria on Sunday and Monday, using bomber and fighter aircraft to take out units and equipment near Kobani.
Four attacks struck a large unit from the terrorist group, damaged an ISIS staging location, and destroyed a heavy machine gun firing position.
Three other airstrikes northeast of Kobani hit a small unit belonging to the group, damaged two ISIS buildings, and eliminated three other facilities.
U.S. and partner military forces also conducted an attack northwest of Ar Raqqah, targeting the militant group’s garrison.
The strikes followed additional assaults this weekend in President Obama’s attempt to “degrade and destroy” ISIS.
