Robert Montgomery, age 55, of Magna, Utah, was driving south in a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia tractor which was towing an enclosed trailer, when he drifted off the right side of the road. Montgomery overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle. The tractor-trailer went off the road into the median and rolled, coming to rest on its driver’s side.

Montgomery was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. The left lane of southbound traffic was blocked for about four and a half hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
