TWIN FALLS — Idaho State Police are investigating a two-vehicle non-injury crash involving a lot of jam and juice.

Idaho State Police report the crash occurred at about 3:24 p.m. Wednesday at milepost 184 on Interstate 84 — 8 miles east of Twin Falls.

Benjamin Ping, 43, of Clarksburg, Maryland, was traveling westbound in a 2014 Kennworth Semi with trailer when he failed to maintain his lane and struck another commercial vehicle parked on the shoulder.

Oswald Perez, 41, of Galt California, had parked his 2008 Kennworth Semi with trailer on the shoulder due to sustaining engine trouble.

Benjamin Ping was hauling jelly and juice which scattered across the roadway during the crash.

Westbound Interstate 84 was blocked off and rerouted at milepost 188 until 8:03 p.m. while the crash was being cleared. Both Ping and Perez were wearing seatbelts. No injuries were sustained.
