Teresa Giudice Breaks Her Silence on 15-Month Prison Sentence

Teresa Giudice Breaks Her Silence on 15-Month Prison Sentence

Charles Sykes/Bravo(NEW YORK) -- On a special edition of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, recorded one day after her sentencing, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice reacts for the first time on TV since she was sentenced last Thursday to 15 months behind bars, after she pleaded guilty to several counts of loan and bankruptcy fraud earlier this year.

Holding the hand of host Andy Cohen throughout the interview, Teresa said of her day in court, "My nerves were pulling. At one point, I couldn’t even move my fingers. Like, they were stuck. I couldn’t open my hands. My nerves were shot."

The mother of four added that she wasn't expecting to do time. "I’ve had sleepless nights. I mean, I, of course, I was shocked. I mean, it was very unexpected," she continued.

Teresa Giudice sat next to her husband Joe at his sentencing: he received 41 months in prison, and faces deportation back to his native Italy. Teresa said her focus is now on her four daughters.

“My husband is a great father, a great husband, but I do everything with my daughters,” she explained. “I’m the one that’s hands-on. All I’ve said to my husband was ‘Please take care of our daughters, that’s all I ask. You’ve gotta do what I do.’”

Eldest daughter Gia Giudice, whom viewers watched grow up on RHONJ, is handling the sentencing well, Teresa said.

“She said it’s going to be okay,” Teresa said. “She was being strong for me, I could tell. She said ‘Mommy don’t worry about it. I’ll be there. I’ll help Daddy with the girls.’ She said ‘That’ll make me a better mom. That’ll prepare me for when I’m a mom.’ Oh my god, it broke my heart when she said that. She said the one person she was worried about was me.”

Teresa said she's learned from the ordeal to be more careful.  "I'm a trustworthy person and sometimes I take what other people say and I just believe them and I trust them. And I can't do that anymore," she said. "I gotta make sure I fully understand something, or fully read it or find a lawyer, like a contract lawyer...that could help me."

The special edition of Watch What Happens Live airs Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

“Game of Thrones” Nude Scene Costs $50K a Day

“Game of Thrones” Nude Scene Costs $50K a Day

Helen Sloan/courtesy of HBO(NEW YORK) -- Lena Headey's nude scenes for an upcoming episode of Game of Thrones came with quite the price tag.

According to TMZ, producers shelled out $50,000 a day to shoot the scene in secrecy. More than 200 guards were reportedly hired to guard the set while Headey filmed the famous "Walk of Shame" scene. In the scene, Headey's character, Cersei Lannister, walks completely naked out of a church and through town. The four-day shoot in Croatia racked up a large bill partly to cover the cost of the added crew, but also to pay local shop owners to shut down and leave the area for the duration of filming. Cell phones were banned on set and everyone present was forced to sign confidentiality agreements. TMZ managed to get their hands on a couple of innocuous photos, though. The entire nude scene was almost called off completely after church leaders banned producers from shooting the scene at the Church of St. Nicholas in Dubrovnik. The shoot was moved to another part of town.

“Dancing with the Stars” Recap: Fashion Designer Betsey Johnson Eliminated

“Dancing with the Stars” Recap: Fashion Designer Betsey Johnson Eliminated

ABC/Adam Taylor(NEW YORK) -- Fashion designer Betsey Johnson her pro partner, Tony Dovolani, were eliminated on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars Monday night.

After learning her fate, the colorful fashion designer was full of gratitude, thanking the show, Dovolani, and her fans. “This has been the best wonderful time...it’s just been a trip, a big trip, a triple trip! Thank you,” she said.

The evening was an emotional one, with each star dancing to a song that reflected the most memorable year in his or her life.

For the first time ever, viewers were able to instantly score the performances. A combined overall viewer score for each performance was counted along with the scores of judges Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

The evening also saw Alfonso Ribeiro earn a perfect score after he reprised “the Carlton dance,” the signature move of his character on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, in his jazz routine.Nine celebrities and their partners will return to compete next week. Here’s a rundown of Monday’s routines:Janel Parrish: The actress’ rumba recalled the year 2002, when she moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles to pursue her acting dream with the encouragement of her first vocal coach, who died of breast cancer. Head judge Len Goodman was absent, but Parrish’s routine impressed judges Bruno Tonioli, Julianne Hough and Carrie Ann Inaba. “You look like an exotic angel and you took me to the Garden of Eden,” Tonioli said. Inaba said the performance was “absolutely breathtaking.” Hough commended Parrish’s technique and said she performs “from the heart.” Parrish earned three 9s from the judges and another 9 from the viewing audience for a total of 36 out of a possible 40 points. Jonathan Bennett: The actor’s samba honored his parents, who died at separate times within the past year. The judges found the performance lacking. Tonioli said the samba spirit was present but said Bennett failed to nail the characteristic easy samba bounce, adding: “You were off timing and flat-footed.” Inaba believed the performance was “very one dimensional,” while Hough found it a bit erratic. Bennett earned three 6s from the judges and another 6 from the audience for a total of 24 points. Betsey Johnson: Judges were tickled by the fashion designer’s jive in honor of her daughter, Lulu. “That was phenomenal...you nailed every step of that dance,” Inaba told Johnson. Hough commended the designer for giving her best every single week, and Tonioli was also full of praise for her effort. “I have to say, keeping up with the jive is hard for anyone and you did it very, very well up until the point where you went wrong,” he said. Johnson earned two 7s and an 8 from judges and a 7 from the audience for a total of 29 points. Bethany Mota: The YouTube star’s rumba to “Try,” sung live by singer Colbie Caillat, recalled 2009, when she started posting videos on YouTube after being bullied. The emotion in Mota’s performance touched the judges, but they saw flaws. Hough was emotional as she told Mota that she loved her message, but she had something different to say to her brother, Mota’s pro partner, Derek Hough. “Sorry Derek, I’m just going to beat you up now. There wasn’t enough rumba content for me,” she said. Tonioli commended Mota for expressing her emotions, but said the hip action required of a rumba “wasn’t quite right” in Mota’s performance. Inaba said Mota stumbled a little in the beginning, but danced it beautifully. Mota earned three 8s from the judges and a 9 from the audience, for a total of 33 points. Michael Waltrip: The NASCAR driver’s quickstep recalled 2001, when he won the Daytona 500 and then learned his friend, fellow racer Dale Earnhardt Sr., had died in the same race. Inaba appeared pained, saying Waltrip started out strongly but lost it as the routine progressed. Tonioli said he could “see the dancer within screaming to get out, and you’re trying so hard and I appreciate that...,” but added that Waltrip went wrong “so many times.” Hough agreed, saying there were moments that were great and moments that weren’t. Waltrip earned three 6s from judge and a 7 from the audience, for a total of 25 points. Lea Thompson: The actress brought intense emotion to her tribute to her father, a contemporary routine which had her openly sobbing at the end. It drew high praise from the judges. “Exceptional quality of movement, my darling. You are an exquisite performer,” Tonioli told her. Added Hough: “To me, it was flawless, perfection.” And Inaba agreed: “Every once in a while on this show, there are these moments, they just go into my heart. I will remember that dance forever because you danced like an angel,” she said. Thompson earned three 10s from judges and a 9 from the audience for a total of 39 points. Antonio Sabato Jr.: The actor’s shirtless samba honored his mother for her constant support of his career, but the judges said he needed to do more with his movements. Hough said he needed to make more effort to “fill the space” around him. Even though Tonioli thought the performance was “great,” he, too, encouraged Sabato to “reach the full extent in the movements you make.” An enthusiastic Inaba praised the routine’s opening, but added: “We need you to open your chest. For a man with such a beautiful body you close yourself off a lot...You’re a big, hot guy. Work it!” Sabato earned three 7s from the judges and an 8 eight from the audience, for a total of 29 points. Tommy Chong: His jive recalled the year 2003, when he went to jail on a drug charge. His costume even featured a black and white striped shirt, and he began and ended the performance behind prop bars. Tonioli pointed out that Chong missed a few steps, but told him there was “no jail in the world” that could bind his free spirit. Inaba also acknowledged there were “a lot of mistakes,” but said she enjoyed watching Chong because his movements were “totally natural and totally easy on the eyes.” Hough added: “There’s no denying that was very enjoyable to watch but that was not your best dance – but I still love it,” she said. Chong earned three 7s from the judges and a 7 from the audience, for a total of 28 points. Sadie Robertson: Her samba was dedicated to her famous, controversial family – and her performance included a cameo from the camouflaged clad, duck call-blowing men of Duck Dynasty. The routine thrilled the audience and the judges. “That was fantastic! That was like ducks gone wild!” Inaba said, proclaiming the routine the “best samba of the night.” Tonioli compared her to Natalie Portman’s character in the hit movie, Black Swan, saying: “Way to go, baby! Way to go!” Hough called the performance “the perfect combination of content and concept.” Robertson earned two 9s and a 10 from the judges, and a 9 from the audience, for a total of 37 points. Alfonso Ribeiro: The actor had the ballroom audience cheering wildly when he reprised “the Carlton dance,” the signature move of his character on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, in his jazz routine. Tonioli called Ribeiro’s routine “Broadway-standard jazz,” and Hough said the actor’s performance would have people remembering him, and not the character he played on The Fresh Prince. Added Inaba: “All I can say is, finally!” After the judges’ critique, co-host Erin Andrews coaxed Ribeiro to give her a lesson in the Carlton dance, and when the show ended, the judges, the other cast members and some in the audience were performing it. Ribeiro earned three 10s from the judges and another 10 from the audience, for a perfect score of 40. It was the only perfect score of the night.

Kelly Rowland Reveals the Kind of Mother She Plans To Be

Kelly Rowland Reveals the Kind of Mother She Plans To Be

ABC/Randy Holmes(NEW YORK) --  Former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland announced her first pregnancy with husband Tim Witherspoon in June, and now the singer is just weeks away from welcoming her new bundle of joy -- a baby boy.Rowland recently sat down with Elle.com to talk about what she can't wait for in becoming a first-time mom!"I'm excited to bring a child into the world, and sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part," she told Elle. She continued, "This is something I've wanted. I've been talking about babies since last year. I believe I spoke it into existence during a conversation with my friend, and I feel like I became pregnant overnight!"She also talked about staying in shape during her pregnancy."Everybody always tells you to go crazy with food, and you can eat whatever you want. It's fine to have your cravings but I wanted an easier delivery. All the women that I've talked to, that have worked out, have such an easy and speedy delivery," she said. "Exercise really helps that. And I like being able to have peaceful sleep at night, though there's no such thing as that now in the last trimester [laughs]."Rowland, 33, has not just been active in hopes of an easier delivery. The pop icon has been only using beauty products that don't contain chemicals."I use nothing but shea butter, pure cocoa butter and coconut oil. It's amazing how all of those things work so well for my skin," she added. As for what kind of mom Rowland will be, she said, "I just plan to play it by ear."It was also important for Rowland to show off her "Godmazing" body and do it naturally, by posing nude."I don't know why they would get flack," she said of other expectant moms posing nude. "It's really -- I won't say amazing -- it's Godmazing (laughs) watching your body carry a human. I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn't you want to celebrate that? The body should be celebrated."

Why Jennifer Garner Says the Internet Is a ‘Scary’ Place

Why Jennifer Garner Says the Internet Is a ‘Scary’ Place

ABC/Randy Holmes(NEW YORK) --  In her latest movie, Men, Women and Children, Jennifer Garner plays an overprotective mom who obsessively monitors her daughter’s every keystroke, reading all her texts and even deleting objectionable ones.“I think that my character is a mom who loves her daughter like crazy,” Garner told ABC News' Juju Chang in a sit-down interview for Nightline. “And how often as a mom have you had those moments where you think you’re just going to go that extra mile and you’re going to work that much harder and you’re going to protect your kid and at the end of the day you realize, ‘Oh, I actually made it harder for them.’”And though her character goes to extremes to keep watch over her kid’s online movements, Garner, a real-life mother of three with husband Ben Affleck, who stars in the recently released movie Gone Girl, says Men, Women and Children made her “very aware” that the Internet can be a “scary” place. The Internet is "something that I need to have on my radar and think about,” she said. “What’s going to happen the day one of my children Googles themselves? They’re going to be totally and completely shocked, so I want make sure I’m there for that.”The movie takes on the issues of sexting, online pornography, online bullying and a host of other ways we communicate in this day and age. Garner even admitted she had to look up certain texting acronyms, including “DTF” and “POS.”“I looked it all up. I know. It’s scary,” she said. “POS, ‘Parents over the shoulder,’ that freaks me out. ... I just think of my 8-year-old and my 5-year-old daughters and I just think, I can’t bear for that to be their reality because it wasn’t mine.”And, Garner said, it’s not just her. Affleck too, she said, gives a lot of thought to his role as “daddy” to the couple’s three children, Violet, 8, Seraphina, 5, and Samuel, 2.“My husband is very involved and definitely has an opinion and he is the yin to my yang as far as parenting is concerned,” she said. But, Garner said, they might have different approaches as the kids get older.“I’m sure his opinion will be, ‘look we need to let them screw up and explore and have these experiences and we need to be there to just catch them,’ whereas I might be a little more like, ‘nope, hold up, not yet, not yet,’” Garner said. “I’m the bad guy.”Garner has been an outspoken advocate for paparazzi laws in California when it comes to taking photos of children, and though her kids are not at the age yet where they use the Internet regularly, Garner said she worries about how different their childhood might be from the one she had growing up.“My world was really innocent and sweet and I had a real childhood that lasted for a long, long time,” she said.

"Swimming is a major part of my life, but right now I need to focus my attention on me as an individual," he continued, "and do the necessary work to learn from this experience and make better decisions in the future."

After police pulled him over, he registered a .14 percent on a Breathalyzer test, according to police documents obtained by ESPN.The legal limit in Maryland is .08.

"Mr. Phelps was identified as the driver by his driver’s license and appeared to be under the influence. He was unable to perform satisfactorily a series of standard field sobriety tests," a spokesperson for Maryland Transportation Authority said.

Asked to do a one-leg stand, the Maryland Transportation Authority said that Phelps "stated 'that's not happening.'"

In arrest documents, an officer wrote that after he placed Phelps in custody, the swimmer appeared "disoriented, argumentative."

He was charged with driving under the influence, excessive speed and crossing double lane lines.Phelps was also arrested in 2004 in Maryland. He pleaded guilty to that arrest and got 18 months probation and a $250 fine.

His 2004 conviction was waived. If convicted on current charges, Phelps will face the penalties of a first-time offender, which include up to one year in jail, a $1,000 fine, and the loss of his driver's license for six months.

Phelps is due incourt on November 19.

Michael B. Jordan Shares Details of the New “Fantastic Four”

ABC/Rick Rowell(NEW YORK) -- The Fantastic Four isn't hitting theaters until August 2015, but with most of the filming complete, every Marvel fan is clamoring to get a sneak peek at what's to come from the reboot starring Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan.Jordan, 27, who plays the Human Torch in the film, caught up with ABC News and talked about the highly-anticipated flick, revealing what he could."I'm really excited about it, everyone is really happy," he said of filming. "We worked hard for three months, put a lot of time into it. The script is very grounded and relatable to everybody, as much as you can. You really get a chance to grow with these characters. It's an origin story. You get to discover these abilities. These disabilities rather and grow with them."As for the new suits, he said, "It's a new look. We are all in containment suits. ... It's gritty. It's a gritty film.""The costume process definitely took some time to get in and out of that thing, especially since I was bulking up," he said. "It was a little more snug during filming. We got through it man. It was a process, but we did it. It was hard work," he added.Jordan also said he's not aware of any possible Avengers/Fantastic Four cross-over -- or even the chance of a teaser clip of The Fantastic Four post-credit of The Avengers: Age of Ultron, which hits theaters a few months prior in May 2015."I have no clue, I have no idea about any of that," he said. "From a personal standpoint, it would always be cool to collaborate with other talented actors in that franchise. But I just have no clue whatsoever what Marvel has up their sleeve."Jordan spoke to ABC after hosting Canon's PIXMA PRO City Senses Gallery in Austin on Oct. 2. The actor got to follow in his mother's footsteps and take pictures for the gallery opening."My mom is big into photography, she's an artist, she paints and always took a lot of photos and pictures of us a kid growing up," he said "Being able to host this gallery in Austin is awesome. My mom was really excited for my pictures because she feels a little responsible for giving me that camera eye. She was happy to see the photos, she said I did a really good job. And of course, she critiqued me on the pics."The theme of Jordan's gallery was music."It just kind of hit me to shoot a guitar, I used to play guitar as a kid," he added. "The idea of a lot of small pieces going into this bigger puzzle. There's so many pieces of a guitar that are crucial to the final product."
