(IDAHO FALLS) – The Idaho National Laboratory is gearing up for what may be a big fire season. KPVI reports that the INL is reviewing their preparation procedures and says they are learning what they can from previous fires. Peak fire season for the site is expected to arrive around July and last into August. Crews at the INL protect important buildings at the site by using natural and artificial fire breaks, non-combustible building materials, automatic fire suppression systems and by having reliable water supplies
