(IDAHO FALLS, ID) — Home Depot is beginning a nationwide spring-season hiring campaign, bringing as many as 100 jobs to eastern Idaho. Idaho Falls manager Tom Holmes says his store will hire between 50 and 60 new employees, with dozens of job openings at the Chubbuck store as well. That could come as welcome news to many people still struggling to find work, including 80 people being laid off by Heinz in Pocatello. Labor officials say it’s typical for major hardware outlets to start hiring seasonal employees around this time of year.
