Man Passes Out During Arrest

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Idaho Falls Police say a suspect passed out during an altercation with officers Sunday night. Police responded to a report of a disturbance on the 400 block of G Street when 44-year-old Ronald Mencer approached two officers with a screwdriver in hand and attempted to attack them. Police were able to subdue Mencer after a struggle which caused him to pass out. Mencer was taken by ambulance to EIRMC where he regained consciousness. He faces charges of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
